Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.
Center for Developing Hope must give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for mental heath services.
If you schedule an item or service at least 3 business days before the date you’ll get the service, a good faith estimate must be provided to you no later than 1 business day after scheduling.
If you schedule the service OR ask for cost information about it at least 10 business days before the date you get the service, a good faith estimate must be provided to you no later than 3 business days after you schedule or ask for the estimate.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or photo of your Good Faith Estimate.
